- 48V 100Ah Group 8D LiFePO4 (5.12kWh): Massive 5.12kWh of usable energy packed into a standard Group 8D footprint (20.9" x 8.7" x 12.1"), engineered as a premium 48V powerhouse for off-grid solar, marine propulsion, and heavy-duty applications.
- High-Output Performance & Fast Charging: Delivers a heavy-duty 150A maximum continuous discharge (with a massive 300A peak for 30 seconds) to effortlessly run large 48V inverters and motors, while supporting a rapid 100A continuous charge rate (300A peak for 10s).
- Seamless Victron CANBUS Integration: Features native CAN communications, allowing the battery's internal BMS to sync and communicate directly with Victron OS for plug-and-play, closed-loop system management.
- IP67 Waterproof & Sub-Zero Heated: Encased in a fully sealed, submersible housing (up to 1 meter deep) with internal self-heating technology that ensures safe, reliable charging in extreme freezing temperatures (below 0°C).
- Smart Bluetooth & External Controls: Monitor real-time system data via the free Epoch iOS and Android apps, or utilize the convenient mountable ON/OFF switch and mountable battery gauge for easy physical access.
- Advanced Smart BMS & Internal Fuse: A rigorously tested internal fuse and integrated Battery Management System automatically guard your investment against over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, short circuits, and temperature extremes.
- 3,500+ Cycle Life & Maintenance-Free: Exceptional drop-in longevity requiring zero watering or routine upkeep, backed by an industry-leading 11-year manufacturer warranty for total peace of mind.
Recommended charging settings:
Batteries employed in non-Victron systems should utilize the following settings:
Absorption voltage of 56.8V with an absorption time of a minimum of 15 minutes per battery.
Float voltage of 54.0V
Equalization off
No temperature compensation
To use the V2 Elite with Victron systems. Set up the battery comm harness and gauge as follows:
Plug with waterproof bung plugged into master blue port.
RJ45 cable out of master black port and into slave1 blue port.
RJ45 cable out of slave1 black port and into slave blue port and so on to daisy chain up to 16 batteries in parallel.
Set dips as per manual.
Plug in grey RJ45 plug into the Cerbo or Ekrano GX BMS CAN port or if you have the new Cerbo Mk2 plug grey plug inot VE-CAN1 or VE-CAN 2 and change the VE can port speed to 500 KBPS LV.
To confirm proper reporting, go to the GX/touch screen and confirm the Epoch battery shows up on the device list. Click on the battery line, go to Details. Check to see the number of modules online is equal to the number of batteries installed. Check that the number of AH is equal to the number of AH installed.
In the GX device/touch screen turn on DVCC, set controlling BMS to Epoch, set battery monitor to Epoch.
The system should say External Control on the GX touch screen Inverter tile when charging (but not while inverting). The system will automatically cycle to 56.8V with an absorption time of a minimum of roughly 15 minutes per battery followed by 54.0V float voltage.
It is recommended to manually program the Multiplus, Quattro and all other charge source to these same parameters in case of CAN communication loss.
Over time there will be additional refinements and improvements as needed.
