- Massive 5.89kWh Capacity (V2 Elite Series): Premium LiFePO4 chemistry in a Group 8D size footprint, delivering massive continuous power (230A output / 500A peak) to easily handle heavy core marine, RV, and off-grid loads.
- Built to Talk to Your Victron System: Native CANBUS communication allows the Smart BMS to connect and communicate directly with your Victron OS for seamless monitoring and integration right out of the box.
- Your Whole System in Your Pocket (Bluetooth): No guesswork. Track real-time state of charge, cell voltage, and system health directly from the Epoch iOS and Android apps.
- Extreme Weather Ready (Heated & IP67 Rated): Experience worry-free adventures. The battery is completely sealed against dust and water immersion (IP67), while automatic internal heating guarantees safe charging in sub-zero freezing temperatures (below 0°C).
- Upgraded V2 Elite Accessories: Take physical control of your setup with the included mountable ON/OFF switch and a mountable, detailed battery gauge.
- Advanced Smart BMS & Safety Protections: Fully protected by a built-in internal fuse, high/low-temperature disconnects, and automatic safeguards against over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, and short circuits.
- A Decade of Reliable Power: Enjoy a completely maintenance-free power solution boasting a 3,500+ cycle life, proudly backed by a best-in-class 11-Year Manufacturer Warranty.
Recommended charging settings:
Batteries employed in non-Victron systems should utilize the following settings:
Absorption voltage of 28.4V with an absorption time of a minimum of 15 minutes per battery.
Float voltage of 27.0V
Equalization off
No temperature compensation
To use the V2 Elite with Victron systems. Set up the battery comm harness and gauge as follows:
Plug with waterproof bung plugged into master blue port.
RJ45 cable out of master black port and into slave1 blue port.
RJ45 cable out of slave1 black port and into slave blue port and so on to daisy chain up to 16 batteries in parallel.
Set dips as per manual.
Plug in grey RJ45 plug into the Cerbo or Ekrano GX BMS CAN port or if you have the new Cerbo Mk2 plug grey plug inot VE-CAN1 or VE-CAN 2 and change the VE can port speed to 500 KBPS LV.
To confirm proper reporting, go to the GX/touch screen and confirm the Epoch battery shows up on the device list. Click on the battery line, go to Details. Check to see the number of modules online is equal to the number of batteries installed. Check that the number of AH is equal to the number of AH installed.
In the GX device/touch screen turn on DVCC, set controlling BMS to Epoch, set battery monitor to Epoch.
The system should say External Control on the GX touch screen Inverter tile when charging (but not while inverting). The system will automatically cycle to 28.4V with an absorption time of a minimum of roughly 15 minutes per battery followed by 27.0V float voltage.
It is recommended to manually program the Multiplus, Quattro and all other charge source to these same parameters in case of CAN communication loss.
Over time there will be additional refinements and improvements as needed.
